Global Warming Tie By Color

Global Warming Tie By Color

As Shown: $0.00

This tie shows Global Warming from 1850 through 2017. The simple, yet powerful visualization was created by Professor Ed Hawkins, University of Reading (@ed_hawkins). Each colored line represents Global temperature in a given year. Blue is below normal. Red is above normal. Lines near the top of the tie are blue because temperatures in the 1800's were below our modern normal temperatures. Lines on the bottom of the tie very quickly transition to above normal reds indicating the accelerating warming in the late 1900's and especially in the last decade.
